The Interlude by nellies The Interlude by nellies

The Interlude... this is a very easy vector. Something that I do so I won't stop working, a break from a more complex pieces.

Tools:
Adobe Illustrator

You may call it simple, I call it stunning and unusual.

This pretty nice, I actually like the simplicity of it. I just started working with Illustrator again after many years away, and I have to say the program has grown immensely. Are you stacking shapes with gradients here, or was this done with the gradient mesh? I would love to see a screenshot of how this is all put together. I just started plimbing the depth of the gradient mesh myself, and I'm currently finding myself feeling somewhere between overwhelmed and ecstatic about possibilities of this tool.

These are all shapes and I used gradients on the side of the face and on the eyeshadows only.
I don't really work with gradient mesh, haven't had the time to experiment on it. Soon I hope.

Thanks :)
